Topic: Grass roots agile adoption / agile for one

We'll be talking about two related topics this month:

The first is developing strategies to increase agile adoption in an organization from the "grass roots" up. How do we convince our bosses and peers to adopt agile techniques? It is a significant challenge to affect change in an organization. The challenge only increases if we are not the "boss" of the software organization. How have you been able to increase the adoption of agile techniques on your team from within?

The second addresses those of us have lost hope of affecting such change in our organization. Or perhaps we're working on a team of one or two. Yet we want to leverage agile principles to the extent possible. Given these parameters, how can we still benefit from agile?

This will be a "can't miss" meeting for those who are trying to scale these hurdles and for those who've emerged victorious.
